Description

Ramona Fradon is a national treasure. I met her once at a Pittsburgh Comicon years ago, and I got a Metamorpho sketch from her. But I've wanted to get more of a finished piece from her ever since. The opportunity finally came this year, and I was able to get this fantastic Aquaman. I am so thrilled with it!

BTW, the actual drawing is not as bright as this scan. It is much more pastel. I think she used some type of crayon to color it.

The colros are a stunner! They are pebbley and reflect how fish scales would look.

Congrats! It's a great day, whenever you can something from Ramona to the collection. For me, the type of joy her pieces bring aren't matched by anyone else!
