Description

Artist Aaron Kuder had an incredible run, creating ten fantastic covers (#8 - #18) for the second Darth Vader series Marvel released since it returned to Star Wars in 2014. I really enjoyed Kuder�s inventive compositions and his take on my favorite Star Wars villain on those covers. Kuder's inking on this piece is perfect. He put in a lot of time working on the smallest of details and getting the contrasting light & dark just right to set the mood of this issue.

The symmetry is so cool with Vader being just as mechanical or a statue. Only the lighting (light side) gives us a hint that he's still human.

THAT would be a fun one to frame with some creative two-toned matting to channel and bevel in a way to mirror part of that geometric design. Nice!

The symmetry is incredible, but perhaps more so is the exquisite details throughout Vader's outfit. Really a stellar cover!!

Big fan of Aaron's here and images like this are why! DEEP blacks, which makes the white from the lighting pop that much more. Congrats!
