DescriptionGI Joe by Wagner! I love pages with Joe vehicles, especially planes/jets. The Phantom X-19, piloted what’s his name…(Ghost Rider) looks awesome. Along for the half-splash ride is Falcon, Spirit, Leatherneck and Zap.I always liked the recurring gag surrounding Ghost Rider - nobody on the Joe Team can remember what his name is. Fun Fact (from Joepedia): The reason Ghostrider is never called by name in any issue of the comic is that Marvel Comics already had a character called Ghost Rider, and didn't want any confusion. Rather than merely write around the name, Larry Hama played up the fact that the book wasn't allowed to refer to him properly by turning it into a running joke. Social/Sharing |

One of the hardest planes to draw as it has so many smooth surfaces to be undetectable to radar.
