The cover featuring Stan Lee was billed as a Circus of Celebration, A Carnival of Criticism. Drew's great and classic treatment of Stan (age spots and all) foreshadowing his Old Jewish Comedians caricatures to come.

Always great! His art is always on point! Stan as a carnival barker is both flattering and cutting!

Fantastic. Friedman leans more toward satire or critique in his portrayal of Lee as carnival barker while still capturing Stan's energy (even sincerity). A true master.
