Description

If you are a firefighter, or are related to one then you know how dangerous their jobs can be. This struck a nerve with me. Do I expected a lot of �likes� or �comments� on it? Nope, but that doesn�t mean that this isn�t a powerful piece. Karl Slominski created a piece that I am really proud to have purchased.

I�m going to have it framed and give it to my son on his birthday In April.

I agree with you. We post a lot of superhero art on this site, but it's nice to see someone post art of the real superheroes in our lives--the firefighters, the cops, the doctors, the nurses and all the other people who spend their days and nights protecting the rest of us. We shouldn't ever forget them.

An image that embodies the unsung hero shown nameless and without any discernable facial features. The strips and bits of screen tone compliment what we could see amongst the even more ambiguious heavy firefighter uniform. It could be any one of us who puts on a uniform to do good in this world not expecting anything in return.
