DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11x17" Sparta artboard features pen and ink original art for cover to Action Comics #467, published by DC Comics Jan. 1977. Art is by Bob Oksner (1916-2007) and action-packed art depicts an out-of-control Superman destroying city. Hand-lettered pencil caption appears to emit from antenna at top of skyscraper, reading "Stop It Superman! You're Wrecking The World!" which was printed across a banner above Superman for final publication. Artboard has original title stat paste-over w/some correctional fluid (and small portion being hand-done at bottom center), but issue is noted as "465." Top margin has inked title, publication date and updated "467" issue number. Back has two DC Comics copyright inkstamps; one for original planned publication as issue #465 and another for final publication. Margins show some lt. scattered aging, but art remains clean and Exc.
