DescriptionHere is another great McFarlane page for my art collection, as I was finally able to find a McFarlane Hulk page with Hulk actually on it! Even better, I was able to work a trade deal with art dealer Anthony Snyder and now have this bad boy in my hands and it is glorious!Whenever I see a piece with Anthony I know I have a chance to find a way to work a trade deal, which I have done a few times now and which is always easier for me than cash, which I don't really have. Not everyone will allow you to trade multiple smaller pieces for one high value piece, but Anthony does. So I was able to trade him 8 smaller pieces for this larger one, which both helps thin the portfolios and consolidates the collection into single larger pieces at the same time. 🙂 Thanks to trades with Anthony, I managed to get my ASM McSpidey back in 2017 and now I have a nice McHulk page with actual Hulk (and the Leader!) on it to join it! This is page 6 from Incredible Hulk #342, with pencils and inks by the Toddfather! So it's an all Todd page also which makes it even better! Shoutout to Mike Alderman for pointing me at it! So Bold! McFarlane's redesign of the Leader is deliciously evil! McFarlane's influence during this era ushered in the upcoming decade!

Boy, you can see what a huge influence Todd McFarlane had on the Hulk during his run on the title! The wild redesign of the Leader was inspired! And the heavy eyebrowed, scrunched down look of the Hulk was carried on long after McFarlane departed. And you've got both of them here on one page--You scored big, Dave!
