"Housewarming Party" written by Doug Moench

This twice-up splash, albeit with two embedded panels, features skeletons, Jim Corrigan, and the Spectre sitting on a devilish statue. Morrow uses a variety of inking techniques and zip-a-tone on the page. Yowza!

Very nice splash! The way Morrow draws this has such an dark and unsettling manner because of the many meshing styles that plays havoc with your mind. The supernatural figure of the Spectre watching from above invisible in his world also make you feel like spirits are watching over your every move.

Cool page !! In this period at DC, Gray Morrow seemed like he was trying to use up all the scrap bits of zipatone that he had lying around.
