DescriptionBlob catfishing Beast and Prosimian watching nature porn, wow!I really enjoyed this twisted run on an alternate X-Men world. This issue features The Blob posing as Naomi to get intel from Beast, ultimately finding out that Magneto didn’t perish but was brainwashed by Prox X to live a life away from mutant tyranny. Kaare Andrew’s really fun art with Rusty Beach’s inks played really well for this chapter in Mark Millar’s Ultimate X-Men. The framing and composition is very cinematic. This page sets up a pun and has a great payoff all on the same page. As a single page it stands alone and is very exaggerated in it’s spoofy nature. The Blob is extra plump in underwear and works perfectly for a catfishing character that Beast is drawn too. I also really enjoy the chat and bickering between Prosimian and The Blob. The intense looks from Prosimian and cartoon-like appearance of The Blob are done really well and a fun piece to add to my X collection. Social/Sharing |

It's always a huge treat when Kaare Andrews does interior artwork.
Poor Beast. His love life never seems to work out in any universe.

I always liked Andrews' versatility as an artist and I was crazy about his art when he popped on the scene. Quite the fun page.

Dude, that's funny. "Maybe I'll just turn it on for a minute or 2" lol! And Kaare's so versatile - can do anything on the art front. Including doing some uber cartoony stylizatoin for a fun book like this! Congrats!
