DescriptionMy two favorite X-men events are The Mutant Massacre and Inferno. Both massive events in the X-men world from when I was a boy. For years I went back and forth on which one is more important to me. A long time ago at this point I decided it was Inferno. The reasoning is at 13 years old I was fully collecting, like comic shop every week .. every issue fully invested! I remember so vividly when the first ad showed up even before the event how psyched I was for it. And it didn’t disappoint . The X-men and X-factor coming together after the X-men had been “dead” for years .. against some of the newest and baddest villains they had ever seen. The X-men fully corrupted and of course Madelyne became the Goblin Queen!! So much drama… one of the all time highs of the Claremont era!Sooo being able to add a piece from the key oversized issue 242 to the collection is a dream come true! And a fantastic page it is too Silvestri and Green were perfect together …Iceman (one of my least favorite X-men ) doing something useful with one of my favorites ,Colossus, was page that I could never forget. Even got a tiny Goblin Queen on the page (published GQ art is a PIA to get BTW) … so happy! And if you’ve read this far and ever want to sell an inferno page.. please feel free to reach out! Love this page! Action and powers in every panel. I pulled out my magnifying glass and can confirm underboob!

I remember walking 30 minutes to my comic shop as a teenager for these inferno issues. I reread the issues with wolvie/archangel on the cover and the large mr. Sinister countless times. I remember this battle scene vividly. Congrats J

So much to love from this magical era, Silvestri/Green, X-Men, Goblin Queen, INFERNO!! Huge congrats! Beautiful work from the artist combo with great character design and action. Great find, similar to you, the nostalgia is there.
