DescriptionOAFriends,1979 Byrne/Austin Cyclops, Wolvie, Nightcrawler, Colossus early danger room action with fun 'can this ever be a cohesive team' trash talking. This was colored by the colorist which was part of an extra bonus they did with OA back in the day. This is my first 'hand colored OA piece' and I have to say, I really dig it. thanks to my OA buddy Mike Lovitz for the opportunity to add this to the McSpidey vault Note Steve Oliff colored this OA page, the comic was colored by Glynis Wein alt images has the back and the pub'd page for comp Social/Sharing |

I get the purist nature of just pen and ink, but, man, those colors look good. And it would present nicely in a frame!

You don't get to see these everyday - not much compares to the Byrne and Austin X Men run. Thanks for sharing, only on CAF do we get to see these pieces.

Good to see the letterer getting some love and being asked to sign the game ball!

It's funny to think this is how most non-comic art collector folk would expect an original comic art page to look, but to us this isn't the norm. This is not only a great page, but excellently coloured. Congrats on such a fine example McSpidey!

It's a fabulous page. I've always thought the "X-Men Training in the Danger Room " pages should be some of the most desired and valuable ones. Kudos!

That really is a stunner. Beautifull colored! And so many great Nightcrawler images, which makes it particularly aces in my book.

Fanastic page!
My eyes are especially drawn to the Wolverine slashes in panel 2 making the X symbol.

Wow! What a cool Byrne/Austin X-Men page. Loved this era of Byrne's work. Bryne was so good at telling compelling stories and this page really shows that talent off. Austin, of course, was the perfect complement to Byrne, delivering crisp clean inks that move the story forward. Terrific pick-up! Congrats!

Great looking colored OA page, featuring some characters early in their history in some cool panels and action. Congrats and fun to see the OA this way.

I had this one in my hands in 2004 and didn't pull the trigger....it's awesome but way way better looking in person.

Wolvie slashing, Petey lifting, Bamfy Bamf-ing... this has to be one of the best drawn Danger Room pages out there
