Description

Rendered in ink over blue pencil on DC Bristol board with an image area of 8.5" x 11". Signed just below the image area. Circa 1990 and possibly concept art done for the Kenner action figure line. Alcala had an incredibly prolific career including inking many Swamp Things comics during the 1980s. Swamp Thing is seen in action here, rising from the water and joined by a pair of fish and a frog.

Very cool! You're probably right but this might have been for the ST "Battle of the Bayou," if it wasn't for the Kenner line.
