Description

This is not the nineteenth century portrait artist John Francis, but a late twentieth century artist of the same name. I can't find any details about him or determine that these round paintings ever became a Franklin Mint plate series, as round works like this often did. They are 6.75 inches each. I split the works across two CAF entries. Pine Martens are the most unusual specimen here, so I put them first.
