Description

I call this the "Indiana Jones" part of the run. I do wonder how much of an influence this had on Spielberg and Lucas. Certainly, the movie serials influenced them. But, I think Caniff influenced the serials.

Great sequence from my favorite year! The underground portion of this story line was a chance for Caniff to show off his lighting and shadows and he certainly set an example for all that followed him.
