No, the only fans I've looked up on the internet are the artists who started out submitting fashions to Katy Keene. Those people were real. I've read that the fan names in the Marvel books allegedly were made up, to give the impression of fan involvement. But we'd need someone who worked at Marvel at the time to confirm or deny.

A post-script to my previous post: Though Millie's and Patsy's fan designers might not have been real, I know that the letter writers to Marvel's letters pages were real, as I had a very short letter published in Amazing Adventures issue 4 more than (gulp) 50 years ago. They even sent me a congratulatory "No-Prize," which was an empty envelope with Marvel characters on it, something they sent to published letter-writers. The good old days...

You had to have pointed out how they screwed up on AND explained it away for them to earn one of those!

If I remember correctly, Lockjaw was missing from a story or two, and my letter was a coy plea to bring him into the Inhumans new strip in Amazing Adventures. (My letter was a space-filler.)
