DescriptionThis is my Chris Stevens Hellboy vs Baba Yaga commission. Chris Stevens is an artist that puts everything into his art. If you have never seen one of his pieces in person then this is hard to explain. You just have to see it in all its glory. There is no space wasted at all on this paper. There is so much little detail all over this thing. I’ve looked at it for 10 minutes straight and you will still find something that he put in the effort to detail.Hellboy is my favorite character and the Baba Yaga is one of the creepiest characters to me (behind the crooked man). He made both characters off of Mignola’s design but still his own. I knew exactly what I wanted from him and he knew exactly how to execute it. Thank you Chris! Social/Sharing |

Goodness, this is fantastic. Love the juxtaposition of the warm and cold colors. Chris has been astonishing me with his art for over a decade now. Congrats on an amazing commission!

Thank you! You might have the best Hulk collection on here and I hope you get a Chris Stevens for it.

Love it! There is so much to look at...so many shady characters in the background. Wait, are all those creepy crawlies in the backgroud suppose to be us? Are we in the art now?

The power level of artistry by Stevens certainly reflects his relentless attention to detail to bring all the energy and fury displayed in this in your face climactic moment! It's Clobberin' Time and Hulk Smash all in one! It's wall power as it could punch through any wall to create a portal to this world of Hellboy.

I couldn't say it better myself. I'm going to repost your comment as my own. Great back down Marcus, damn you nailed it.

Thank you! I've seen his Hellboys before and knew that's what I needed. You ever see his silver surfer? My god it is gorgeous.

The level of detail is amazing. Like you mentioned there's something new to see each time you look at this. What a masterpiece by Stevens.
