DescriptionThe second collaboration of Marvel and DC from 1981.It is the sequel to the very first Marvel/DC crossover classic event from 1976 (Superman vs. Spiderman). Side note: I am lucky to own a page from the First Marvel/DC crossover from 1976 by Ross Andru as well. I love owning a piece of history...and you don't get much more historic than pages from these 2 issues. How many times do you get to see Superman hurling the Hulk through a wall?...while Peter Parker gets ready to change into Spiderman. This issue was written by Jim Shooter and Marv Wolfman. Drawn by Big John Buscema and there are 10 different world class inkers listed...with this page being inked by Joe Sinnott. One of the first pages I got from Mike Burkey many moons ago. If there's one thing I know, it's the work of my inking heroes, and this is 100% Joe Sinnott on inks. Not a trace of Janson. The good news is that Buscema and Sinnott together is a great and classic pairing!

Great crossover event aimed to bring in a wider audience with Spidey and Hulk on TV and Superman up ont he silver screen in 1981! Even in the first panel with the civilians, Buscema puts in so much individual characters designs to bring the audience into the story, that you know that every panel of the story will show that this is a special event.

So jarringly awesome seeing Supes, Pete, and the Hulk on one panel page! Love it, Jordan. Congrats!

Buscema's ability to convey movement is so amazing. His figures are so dynamic and look so natural. Great page from a great book!
