The Arthur Adams career trajectory blasted off here. It leaves such a big imporession right away. The page is exciting and charming at the same time as a new voice that would profoundly influence the entire industry.

Wow, Toni. You aren't messing around. What a beauty. I'm a sucker for rain pages. I always thought JR JR did the best rain, but after seeing this, maybe I'm changing my mind and AA does it better.

Fisch you opened a very interesting discussion!!! For sure JRJR draw amazing rainy pages... but also George Perez in UXM Annual 2 or John Byrnr in his run on DarkPhoenix saga! I fully agree with you. That kind of pages are awesome! Thanks always for your Marvel Wisdom,

Toni considers the string o' stunners! Oh you thought he was done adding AA Longshot pages to the collection...oh no, baby...not by a longshot! Dude, every panel's got somethin' to see, and just from this page you can tell AA was doin' things different from many of his contemporaries of the day. Great storyteling, detail, and that rain effect! And oh yeah, KIND of an important page ;) Big congrats, man!

A memorable comic. A nice exame by Art with excellent renders. The only question I had as a result of your title was is there a #1 vol 2 you are trying to distinguish this from? Congrats by the way!

Wow! Amazing Arthur Adams' Longshot page! Boy you don't see these very often! Gorgeous work from the era when Arhur did more than just covers! Love that second panel with the Longshot closeup!
