Description

I enjoyed the Young Justice book a lot. Fun art by Todd Nauck and stories by writers like Todd Dezago (Creator) and Peter David on Volume 1 and featuring the junior partners of the day. The kids acted like kids and the artwork properly reflected them as adolescents. Good stuff.

As for why I bought this? It's simple, I love crowd scenes and the series.

To set the scene, The Slag have invaded Myrg and Young Justice can send them on down the road IF they beat them in a game of baseball. They needed another player and thought of Arrowette though she'd retired and wanted nothing to do with super-hero business.

That brings us to this splash. Who do we have on the page? It goes as follows from left to right:

The note along the side of the page reads, "Jason (Wright, colorist) & Digi-Cham - Secret's hat is a smoke construct. A real one would not stay on her smoky head. Todd."

The series is way better than I expected. Glad to have this page.

A rag tag team of heroes can only bond or blow up when there's baseball to be played! If we get the storybook ending, Rorschach will become friends with Tanner, Ahmad and Ogilvie and they will play the Yankees with Buttermaker coaching them.
