Description

I loved JLDetroit (maybe even a little more now than when they were being published). And of everything I loved about it, Vixen tops the list. Chuck really leaned into her look. And, though it was dated pretty quickly, I'll probably always prefer this version (though her debut version is a close second).

These first four issues felt special with DC re-introducing, introducing, and updating so many characters in the Justice League's book. Something they had never done before this point. This page was seared into my memory as one of the best Vixen pages in all of comics. And while Chuck took some liberties with the style of the Fox theater marquee, he definitely highlighted a Detroit landmark.

Coincidentally, this pieces pairs exceptionally well with a Velluto Black Panther splash I also own. The fact that both characters are featured leaping in front of marquees makes them look great together (and they're next to each other on my wall).

Very nice in story marquee piece for Vixen! Fox Claws is a decent title.

If there is a better Vixen page I haven't seen it. Love the marquee background. It's a perfect complement to your Black Panther page.
