Description

I believe this is the cover to the European edition of the House of X / Powers of X collected edition.

Was lucky to pick this up from Pepe's rep a few years ago, only now finally getting round to posting it here.

Pepe has really been on an upward trajectory in the last few years so I'm grateful to have added this when his star was beginning to rise.

Awesome cover! One of only three original art covers which Pepe created for the HOXPOX collected editions, this one for Panini Comics Italy. I have often wondered what had happened to it - there are some great WIP process photos posted by Pepe on his Instagram account - so it's great to see it again and in the hands of another CAF member. Congrats!

Composition, perpspective, textures, pure illustration...this one really does have it all, as they say. Congrats on nabbing such killer traditional example from Pepe! Guy is a straight MAESTRO!

HoX/PoX really launched Larraz into the stratosphere, so it's pretty cool to have one of the few original pieces he did for the series. I can't tell if it's the scan or not, but it looks softer/more delicate with all the inkwashes for the building/background. Either way, congrats!
