Notes: Front cover for �Lamb in Command� written by Kenneth Maynard, published by St. Martins press in 1986.
�Lamb in Command� was written by Kenneth Maynard, and was the third title of four featuring Lieutenant Lamb in his maritime adventures in the late 1700�s. In this book Lamb takes the helm of a mail packet, Heron, en route to Spain.
The artist Michael Roffe has exhibited at the Mall Gallery�s in London for the King George the Fifth Fund for sailors and also for the RNLI Charity exhibitions, plus many other exhibitions throughout the years. His work has been published as dust covers on books.
