Description

Modern cover art can undergo a complicated gestation. This one started as a 12x9 drawing in red pencil, was reproduced and airbrushed at a slightly smaller scale, and then underwent digital enhancement to produced the published image. I picked this up at Lake Como Comic Art Festival from Oliver's agent, since the artist himself is reluctant to travel.
