Description

CANKOR!! This is Matthew Allison's artwork that he created for Heroes Con's Indie Island in 2015. This art was used to promote the convention and was used on shirts that were printed and sold throughout the convention. The main image is a digital composite of the two images below. Matthew redrew the "INDIE ISLAND" text on a separate board for the final image.

Big thanks to Shannon for parting with this piece during CAF Live. I had the pleasure of meeting Shannon at Heroes Con in 2009 or 2010 and we'd routinely catch each other on the con floor for several years after.

Fantastic! Cankor is a proper definition of what Indie Island really is and he is carrying the load here. Love the pose and composition, makes for an insanely cool shirt! Big congrats on this one George!
