I tried to bring the 90’s pouch look back at SDCC 2019.

DescriptionSure, this might have Miles Morales front and center and he might be starring in the acclaimed Across the Spiderverse, and there might be all the Ultimate line's heroes on the splash, but the main reason this piece spoke to me is the clean cut Cyclops image. Once they realized Cyclops was in the Ultimate Universe, they knew they had to wrap that whole thing up. This is the issue that's the end of the Ultimate Universe and end of the Ultimate line of comics.Thanks Cyclops. This is the Marvel Universe. Bagley inked by Hanna is like Byrne and Austin. Stunnng splash page, congrats.

you get everyone and the kitchen sink in this page, I have a soft spot for cloak and dagger so it' nice to see them front and center.

I'm also reminded of the All New X-Men Cyclops, who they literally transplanted from the past to remind everyone of pre-asshole Cyke's merits... that's two universes which revolved around Summers unto oblivion! Gratz on this gem!

Awesome piece and I wish I could be as creative in leaving a funny comment as you always do, but that talent only you have and I always enjoy your comment. However with you referencing Miley Cyrus, you inspired me to go look for a Batman piece I have and upload it. I am sure you will get why I say this.

Well if that doesn't commemorate a film release, I don't know what will. I especially love the gap web. Someone is definetly coming in like a wrecking ball for sure.

Man, I'm honestly shocked at Bagley's weak composition here. I mean, it's obvious that he understood that Cyclops is the star of this show, and he's clearly very visible, but the terrible composition forced that SPider guy character in towards the middle which then forced Bagley to have to feature Cyclops prominently towards the right. But you have to love the way Bagley framed the Cyclops figure with dozens of B-list characters in an obvious attempt to show that Cyclops is Marvel's top character of all-time!

Awesome piece !! I really miss the Ultimate universe and Mark Bagley (who'd pioneered it) really gave it a fitting swansong (artwise). Each character is realized perfectly with a lot of nuances and details (I love the Hitch looking Hulk for example).

Wow, this is Jam-packed! Look at the smirk of Cyclops's face. He knows what he's done. And youtube vid embedded? I got to figure out how to do that. Sadly, my wife is now sensitive to the sound of Mile Cyrus so I had to keep it on mute. I watched her Endless Summer Vacation on Disney + once too many times "just for the music".
