Description

Bruce Timm. This hangs on my wall, archival matted and framed behind UV protected glass.

Last page to the Last issue of the Preacher series! This pinup sums it all up- Jesse and Tulip plus Cassidy, Saint of Killers and Herr Starr. I had troubles getting a good picture, it kept glaring.

I can hardly believe I almost sold this. The person gave me an ultimatum on his purchasing terms. Yup, I still have it. To this day, I am thankful for that rude email. As time has passed, I have appreciated this artwork more and more.

Anyway, this was an eBay win...sort of. I think it was up for auction once, no bidders. It was put up again and I won the auction, but, the reserve was not met. I messaged the seller and, kindly, made an offer. It was accepted!

Thanks to Bruce Timm for creating this masterpiece!

Awesome piece! Timm working this darker tone on a mainstream book could have only happened on a Vertigo book! A culmination and celebration of the journey to the end of Vertigo's flagship title of the era.

This was, by far, my favorite pinup in that issue. I could take or leave Bruce Timm at the time, but turning the page to this made me stop short. The composition and character of each character all masterfully executed. Ever since collecting art I've looked for this, just to see it! Wish I'd been on eBay at the time:) Congrats and thanks for sharing all these amazing pieces.
