Description

This page by Rudy Nebres is from Vampirella Issue 96 (page 16). It begins with Major Aranjo, the dethroned head of Apocalypse Incorporated, fighting a Hound of Yeth summoned by Pendragon to avenge the death of his daughter by the organization. The last panels have Conrad Van Helsing talking to Vampirella and Cryssie Collins about the vision he has of Pendragon's attempt at revenge. I love the Hound of Yeth on this page (though it always looks more like a cross between a big cat and a reptile if you ask me) so I was pretty excited when I acquired this page.

Very pretty presentation of all the horror and macbre. The nature of these magazines combines the thrills of horror with sex appeal. Nebres's art, with the wash complimenting the line, had a great handle with just the right balance that touched upon both at the same time.
