Description

I had the absolute pleasure of watching Mike draw this entire piece, and it was actual joy to witness the journey of it. I kept thinking it was going to end, already counting myself lucky for what he'd done, and it kept just spreading further and further across the page, swirling out and etching more and more of her. It felt like witnessing what art is for, the process of creating something from nothing.

The linework branches out with and out with Ivy in bloom. Her finger positions are just as gnarled and twisty like as extentions of that theme.
