There were three artists who could get me to pick up a DC comic. Early on it was Neal Adams. Later, it was George Perez. In between, there was Mike Grell. This guy's art just never gets old. Back in the day, I really tried to get my hands on a nice Longbow Hunters page. But even the actual comics were selling out and impossible to find, so imagine how hard it was for the art. Anyway, great, great, pencil piece my friend.

Thanks Eric. I was a huge fan of Jon Sable as well - and I used to own a nice Longbow Hunters page in my earlier collecting days. So I rally enjoyed getting this piece from Mike for handing over at the Como show, and having a drink or two with him.

Grell brings the ideal look for GA and his lady bird love! A two character drawing by Grell is very cool and more unique. The crisscross composition is worked to perfection in how they intersect as each character already brings great visual interest indivdually.
