11x14 ink on bristol board.

Butch finally had a commission offering back in late 2022. I'd been waiting with fingers and toes crossed, hoping for an opportunity some day. Butch is/was a favorite for nearly all oI my comic fan years, from his days on Micronauts, to that weired-ass X-Men Micronauts miniseries, to Winter Soldier. I had a fantastic Guice poster of the X-Men fighting some Sentinels (with Kitty looking an awful lot like Marionette) hanging on my wall for most of my teen years.

I asked about getting a team portrait, but that wasn't an option at this time. I'm hoping it's something we can make happen in the future. For now, BUG! It has always been a toss-up for me whether Bug or Acroyear is my favorite charater. But if Butch is doing the drawing, it's gonna be Bug. He drew the hell out of Acroyear, but I could never get behind the way he changed his helmet wings lol. He also included the penciled rough on a separate page. Enjoy!
