DescriptionI've been collecting Archie art for a while, but this is my first published pin-up. It's from Everything's Archie #2, penciled by the great Dan DeCarlo. It's a cute gag and I like the way he drew the main characters. I'm not sure who inked it. If anyone knows, please let me know.I'm still looking for a pin-up from the early 60s, but very happy to have this one. Social/Sharing |

The fashions are so hip and with the times! DeCarlo's skill as a good girl artist is very well suited to the day's form fitting short dresses!

Bob, I love it best for its unintended double dose of misogyny. Jughead the "woman hater" and "Dolly Dumpling" the fat girl. Gotta love it!

Definitely of its time subject matter-wise but that DeCarlo art is timeless.
