Description

This 2023 sketch cover captures Sue Storm having some fun on the beach with danger lurking. The unmistakable artist is Dan Parent, who drew this at Awesome-Con in June. It instantly became one of my favorite pieces of art, capturing the pure beauty and joy of Sue Storm. And you know she is about to kick Giganto's ass for disrupting surfing time -- without any help from the boys.

Love the innocent good girl artistry that Parent uses on Sue. From this, I can also imagine Betty surfing and Jughead eating a hamburger in the background.

Yeah, I love his work so much. I'm actually not an Archie reader but the style of the art definitely does it for me.
