Description

I've been excited to really get the ball rolling on my new Spider-Man Friends, Foes, and Family Sketchbook, so at Fanboy Expo Knoxville 2023, I asked Geof Isherwood to add the second sketch to the new book. I gave him my list of over 80 Spider-Man characters and he immediately jumped at Black Cat. I laughed a little bit on the inside, because of my separate Black Cat Sketchbook that, at the time of this posting, has over 40 sketches inside of it. But, obviously, Felicia is one of my top-tier favorite characters and was a must-have for this book, so I was glad she was getting the second spot.

The sketch is great, too, and I love that she's getting caught in a searchlight. Sketches that tell a story always have a little extra oomph, and this is a perfect example of that. This was my first sketch by Geof, but I don't expect it to be my last!
