Description

Artist Declan Shalvey's amazing brushwork of the dramatic storm clouds heightens the already ominous tone of this composition showing Darth Vader igniting the lightsaber as he faces his (unfortunate) opponent. You can almost hear the sound of Vader breathing while his cape flutters in the wind, and the hot plasma from his saber bursting into the snowy ground.

Badder is enhanced in his stature by the dark skies broken by the lightened horizon. This is beautifully designed and executed. The storm clouds are doe so well.

Very dramatic image of Vader standing alone his light saber out, prepared to do battle. Ominous clouds are building above him portending...something. Gorgeous cover by Declan Shalvey. Fabulous pick-up!
