Description

Ben Raab offered this serious take on the origin of Gen13's Sarah Rainmaker. Her father comes home from war to find his wife with a baby that clearly is not his. As seen here, he does not take it well. Brent Anderson and his frequent Astro City collaborator Will Blyberg offer his typically excellent art from the Neal Adams school of realism.

Very unusual when Gen13 went into a more serious territory. It did signal that the cheesecake era was coming to a close and the core audience was ready to know these characters beyond just what they look like.
