DescriptionWhat a way to commemorate SDCC 2023!!! Alvaro is an artist I have admired since the moment I first saw his art, and I was thrilled to make his SDCC list this year. He posted this to social media a few days before the show and my heart skipped a beat when I saw it.Here's what Pepe Larraz had to say about it "Esto es posiblemente uno de los dibujos más increíbles que he visto en mi vida, y sin duda la mejor versión de Galactus. Eres brillante hasta desmotivar. Realmente estoy entre seguir alabando este dibujo y no decir nada porque me ha destruido el espíritu creativo. En ese punto estoy." Galactus the Destroyer indeed. Bill needs to allow "mind blown" gifs on here. With every user allowed 3 per year. You would already have 2 from my quota.

I mean...just unfazed. Love that aspect. And not easy to render the lighting with all the windfall from the attacks! Congrats!

Incredible work and I love how he got the perfect amount of details in the fighter planes to create the GREATEST sense of scale.

Phenomenal! Love the textures and atmospherics and what a great mug on Galactus! I wish ÁMB were still doing physical art for his comic book interiors, but glad he's doing commissions!

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw this was one of those attack scenes from the classic Toho Godzilla movies. Anyway, it's a nice change of scenery from always seeing the character in an outer space setting. Awesome Galactus piece!

If anyone has understood the job, it is most certainly Mr Bueno. That's about as Destroyer of Worlds as you get. Galan is like, "A little to the left. Little more. Perfect!" Great commission.

Here is what Pepe Larraz had to say about it in English:
"This is possibly one of the most incredible illustrations I've ever seen in my life, and without a doubt, the best version of Galactus.
You are brilliant to the point of making me lose my motivation to draw.
I'm truly in between wanting to continue praising this illustration or saying nothing, because it has broken my creative spirit. That's where I'm at right now."
He's absolutely right! One of the nicest Galactus pieces you've ever gotten!
