Iconic pose! If anyone deserves to be done in this grand fashion, it's the OG of all heroes! When Benes branches out of the pin up art, he brings a great superhero feel!

This is wonderful!!
After recently purchasing the Phil Jimenez variant cover to JLA #2, I re-read all the issues Ed did with Brad Meltzer. Man, Ed did fantastic work! Especially on Black Canary and Hawkgirl. I love Phil's work, and all the Michael Turner covers we're great, but this shows me what Ed could have done if he had gotten a chance to draw his own darn covers,

Thanks! Totally agree with you. I consider Ed to be one of those 2000s/pre-new 52 iconic DC artists with guys like Phil Jimenez, Ivan Reis, Ethan Van Sciver, Gary Frank, and Rags Morales.
