I was luckily enough to be on his commission list last year (a brilliant WW2 Wolverine), but when the opportunity came to obtain this beautiful piece of Spacegirl by Travis Charest, I didn’t have to think twice!

Although I’m a massive fan of his artwork, I’ve never read anything of his Spacegirl strips before a week ago. Honestly I don’t know why. Maybe never had the time or just prefer to read complete stories in graphic novel form. But, scrad, I love it up until now (panel #91). I’ve even found and ordered a copy of the volume 1 hardcover book!

Could easily be a cover for one of the independent titles of the 1980's. Travis nailed it. Spacegirl is a killer piece, congratulations.

Wow - there is a lot to absorb in this piece. It's a modern masterpiece, it makes me think of scifi of yesteryear.
