DescriptionThis gorgeous Timm piece comes courtesy of his original design for two face based on thirties movie star Ralph Bellamy . A hint of the resemblance can be seen in this matinee idol "photo" done by Bruce for the 23rd annual San Diego comic con program book in 1992. Also published in Chip Kidd's Batman Animated art book. My facorite villain from the series was two face, and I saw this image someowhere as a kid, probably a wizard magazine and instantly fell in love with Timm's art.Social/Sharing |

Awesome Karim. I still remember the episode of Harvey with Rupert Thorne. Great pick up

Oh, man, is so rad, Karim. Historic stuff, and just a prime example of Timm's work. A truly perfect character design that would end up in one of the best shows ever, and I don't just limit that to animation. Textures are so killer here, and love the throwback vibe. Congrats!

I can't decide I'd this is good or killer good, I'll flip. Damn, this is so iconic. Bruce Timm rarely finishes at to this type of detail. Congrats on adding this to your collection.

Fabulously handsome piece. Timm might not even use these methods and techniques anymore.

One of the very best illustrations Bruce Timm has ever drawn (and that's saying something) ! THE perfect Two-face piece (I wish there were two of them... )

Superb artwork! Bruce Timm is an amazing artist! It's brilliant the way he plays with shadows and with "tha blaks and the whites" to perform this two face pin-up! I love it!

I've always felt this was one of the best drawings Timm has ever done. I'm not surprised that it landed in your collection then. You continually top yourself with each new piece you post. So happy you were able to land this one. Huge congrats!

Outstanding and very unique piece by Timm, the technique reminds me of Virgil Finlay's.
