Description

In 2014 Marvel embarked in another epic series starring the Silver Surfer. With a fun new creative team of Dan Slott (writer), Michael Allred (artist/inker) and Laura Allred (colorist) the team set an entire new story line for the Silver Surfer. The original comics were reprinted in the 2022 Omnibus format for readers to enjoy all in one collection, and WOW !!!... what a story it is. Fun, whimsical, and a true space opera in the Silver Surfer fashion. I really didn't enjoy the full creativity of the story line until I purchased the Omnibus version and saw all of the amazing layouts and story boards in the back of the book. The entire team did an amazing job to breath fresh air into a character who helped bring about the death of billions under Galactus's control.

I feel very lucky to own such an amazing piece of art from this collection, as the books were only sold as whole books and no individual pages (until now). This page is printed on a two-page spread where Galactus is struggling to prevent the end of the entire Universe. Transformed as Galactus - The Bringer of Life, he once again summons this first Herald, the Silver Surfer and his Earth companion Dawn, to help prevent the end of all time as we know it.

For star spanning characters, the DPS is the way to go as it presents Galactus and Surfer in such a grand fashion!
