Description

I was fortunate enough to get this sketch from one of my all time favorites, Jose Luis Garcia Lopez, at a smaller con. He wasn�t doing his typically sketch lottery, which really worked out in my favor. I almost asked for Jonah Hex, but I decided to go with Deadman because I love Jose�s work in the backups he did with Len Wein and the mini-series from the 80s. Jose was a real pleasure to meet.

The mini series is so revered as he really got to stretch his storytelling skills beyond the house style required of his Superman stories. Deadman is an excellent choice for a sketch as he can put more passion into the facial expression.
