Description

When you hear the name "Frank Frazetta", you instantly think of rich paintings of barbarians in glorious combat, in a fantasy setting. And the market has repeatedly proven that to be some of his most popular work. But why is his fan-base so solid? Because of his immense talent, skill, and the fact that he has built several fan groups in a variety of formats. From his more humble beginnings, drawing illustrations for text stories in the middle of "funny animal" comic books in the 1940s, to more adult themes in comics, then to paintings used for paperback covers, popular posters, and famously popular rock album covers, Frazetta has ultimately and deservedly been recognized by the serious fine art community.
