Description

Bernie Wrightson Swamp Thing #3 Preliminary Story Page 3 Original Art (DC, 1973). This page of prelim pencil work was for the story "The Patchwork Man", and indeed, that is the titular Patchwork Man seen in Panels 4 and 5. Created in graphite on vellum and signed in the top right corner. Great 1/3 splash with the top panel, Swamp Thing in every panel. I have other Wrightson prelims, this one is my favorite!

A special one with the figurework of a monster in every panel! Very expressive poses that Wrightson worked the humanity into each one.
