Description

This Charlton Ghostly Haunts ad was cobbled together using clipped images of Winnie the Witch from original story pages. Amazingly, the four images of the Ghostly Haunts host, are original inked drawings, not stats. The printed sources of the image are shown for reference and they are from Ghostly Haunts # 22 and #23 from 1972.
Though the four images of Winnie were published, the ad may not have been. If anyone has a printed example of the ad, please let me know.

Those glasses are awesome. Ditko did some spectacular, maybe amazing, figure work with Winnie the Witch. Congrats!

I agree. The missing part is probably the house ad details. Those guys at Charlton really appreciated original artwork, didn't they? Not, being the correct answer. Glad some fragments survived. Ditkos great.

It's Ditko's lettering, so chances are Steve did it himself- not neccesarily for a house ad, possibly for a later 'zine appearance?
