Description

Well I think it�s pretty obvious I love the X-men� and also fairly obvious I�m a big fan of Alan Davis art work� what may not be so obvious is one of the things I loved about the X-men of my youth was that between the crazy Super hero stuff � the X-men where a school and a family � so when they weren�t fighting magneto they would do fun things like play baseball! I think that human aspect to the books is a bit lost on todays stories and its importance to us keeping up with our comics back then is underrated! Sooooo fast forward to terrificon 2023 and stopping by Alan Davis booth and seeing this 4 page (page 2-3 are a dps and we�re separated before I got to them BOO!!) sequence of the team playing baseball I had to have them! Even if they are just prelim (sarcasm intended ). They are full 11x17 pure pencils of a very memorable book! So yay!

PS - if you happen to own the published to any of these or that pesky missing dps preLim and want to let it go please reach out as I would love to reunite them all!

You need to get Our Ron Lim to digitally ink and color the preLims. After Lim does his subLIMe work, you will get more compLIMents on these character's LIMbs in baseball action.

You struck GOLD! Crazy to think he had these pre-lims still around. I have a special place of nostalgia for X-Men Baseball pages and poolside/beach pages. It's a really great way to bring these characters to more life. Huge congrats!
