Description

Done on yellow 11 x 8.5 paper. Best guess? circa 1970. ..................Ballpoint pen, colored pencils, markers and inks all used by the phenomenal John G Fantucchio, possibly the best pro-level fan/fanzine artist to never have pursued art/painting as a profession for public view - instead he spent several decades as an illustrator for the CIA. What I have here is one of his 'simple' sketches, not the elaborate works/paintings one found on the covers of RBCC, Fantastic Fanzine, et al.

thanks for posting this great piece. His work really helped elevate fanzines from mediocrity to excellence and into 'prozines'. And that crazy signature is still cool!
