Great imagination of the time when fake stories of curiosities spread across through newspapers showing weird hybrid skeletons found in unexplored lands. They sparked speculation on what these creatures and civilizations could be. This brings a vivid illustration of what a sea people would look like by visualizing elements of fantasy and nature.
