DescriptionThe final page of the series, where the abandoned infant from volume 1 is given new life by Hera, gifts from the goddesses, and a spare name from Artemis. A thematic "birth page", if you will ;). This story was blessed with amazing art from Phil Jimenez, Gene Ha, and Nicola Scott. The majority of the work from this evergreen series was digital, with the exception of some loose Jimenez pencils and Nicola's work, which was fully rendered traditionally with pen and ink, and her ink washes. Her process also involves laying out pencils in reverse on the back side of the page and then flipping over to finish the art cleanly. Check that out in the second picture. How that brain function works is a mystery to me...Social/Sharing |
