Golden Age Green Lantern Alan Scott

Here we have an amazing Alan Scott, powerful and heroic. Matt makes everyone he draws just look so cool. A nice cross between a pulp look and animated style. This Green Lantern would look right at home in the Batman Animated series. A great portrayal of the Golden Age Green Lantern. Another of the handful of pieces I didn't get from Matt directly.

Matt has a new project with artist Kelley Jones. A new graphic novel exploring the origin of Dracula written by Matt Wagner with art by Kelley Jones. The Kickstarter campaign is now live. Here:

It almost looks too perfect how Wagner does the symbol within the red field. Flawlessly colored and even has a thing green outline aura!

Yes, I see it as a cross between the simplistic Golden Age styles of art with the simple looking yet deceptively difficult animation style, which frankly is perfect for any JSA characters!
