11.25x17-1/8" DC Comics artboard has pen and ink original art (w/screentone accents) for cover to Action Comics #658. Art is by Kerry Gammill and was inked by Bob McLeod and features full body image of Superman flying w/large UFO in his hands as Sinbad (aka Davood Nassur) flies to his aid. Of note, this art was flipped for publication and featured a different title treatment (w/"Action Comics" being larger than "Superman"). Title stat at top has some inked art, continuing clouds. Additional red ink outlines. Top margin has title stat attached w/white tape. Top margin also has inked title, issue number and publishing info on provided lines. McLeod has signed in ink at bottom margin. Margins show some lt. scattered dust soiling but art remains clean and would display Exc. if framed.
